  Surviving a Global Recession: Challenges and Solutions By: Dwight Bain and Anniston Richey Three years ago, the pandemic brought overwhelming health concerns, isolation, and fears of losing loved ones. Fast forward to current day post-pandemic there are new fears from a declining economy as the secondary impact of the worldwide crisis.     With the current inflation rate of 8.5% it’s no surprise that CNBC reports 77% of Americans are anxious about their financial situation.   Alongside the weekly economic downfall in the stock market, we are seeing higher rates of unemployment, lower household incomes, and higher rates of bankruptcy and consumer debt.   77% of Americans are anxious about their financial situation Among these economic effects, rise psychological effects.   Having financial struggles can feel like a determining factor of how we live, leaving people to feel robbed of options and stuck in the body’s stress response of fight, flight, or freeze.   With never en
